Join us and wehearttech CIC at Liverpool MakeFest 2017 to code your own drone!

Another successful bidding application sees MakoDigital Arts running a full day of drone coding workshops at Liverpool Central Library on Saturday June 24th 2017, as part of the amazing MakeFest festival.

Project Outline

Our Code-A-Drone workshops are designed to showcase the power of coding in a fun and creative environment. During the activity, our participants will learn how to code a mini drone to take off, fly, turn, do stunts, take photos and land safely. They can also have a go at a range of challenges that put these new skills to the test. Each participant is provided with an iPad to write their code and a mini drone to fly and attempt the different challenges. This will allow the participants to learn and experiment at their own pace.

What’s Happening

During this workshop, participants will have some expert tuition on top coding and drone flying techniques and is open to anyone 18 or under. There will also be a ‘code-a-drone’ drop-in from 1pm onwards for those of you who want to have a go who are 18+ or want to participate as a family.

All ‘code-a-drone’ activities will take place on the 4th Floor of Liverpool Central Library.
